Saft Tel.X Ni-CD 1.2v 100ah 120wh - Fully Tested

These are excellent batteries for solar storage. They were used as BACKUP ONLY for telecom and they are testing 100% or better. You will get a printout of the test report for each cell. We did a 10a charge to 1.45v, 10a discharge to 1v, and 10a recharge to 1.2v. These batteries can certainly handle more amps but we would recommend to keep the amps below 100a on a discharge and 50a on a charge.

For a 12v battery you will need 10 of these in series. Fully charged would be 14.5v, discharge to 10v. These batteries are testing from 99-108ah. Specs show these batteries new would test above 97ah. No BMS needed. Just add busbars. These batteries will last and have a very safe profile. These Saft batteries are preferred by the telecom industry for their off-grid battery solutions.

Operates in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C (-4°F to +122°F) and tolerates -50°C to +70°C (-58°F to +158°F) for short durations (referred to as a period of less than 96 consecutive hours and a total of no more than 15 days in one year.

At +25°C (+77°F), the lifetime is 20 years. At +35°C (+95°F), the lifetime is 16 years; a reduction of 20% for a Ni-Cd battery compared to a reduction of 50% for a VRLA lead-acid battery.
