Parts/Repair Black Valence U-Charge RT U1-12RT 12.8v 40ah w/ BMS

These are awesome packs to get some great value out of. We attempted to charge these packs and they did not charge. In most cases there will be a group of dead cells or the cells are just sitting at a low voltage because the BMS drained them after sitting for a long time. You can recover the enclosure, the BMS, and should be able to recover many of the cells. These have lifepo4 18650 cells inside. The value is here just for the BMS and enclosure with all the hardware so all the extra cells salvaged would be a bonus. Sometimes the BMS is bad and all the cells are good. Ultimately you will get a lot of good value out of these.

To open these you can use a dremel and cut at the seam around the lid. We did it a few times with no issues just make sure you don't cut too deep. 

Fully charged would be 14.4v. Fully discharged 10v. Perfect for 12v applications. Built in BMS.
