These batteries in particular are either out of balance or have a bad series of cells. We guarantee AT LEAST half of the cells are good. These will be for recovering the lifepo4 cells inside.

The BMU on these works with the valence U-BMS so if you have one of those you will also have the added value of these BMU units which can be put into series. What looks like a BMS on these batteries is actually a BMU which communicates to the U-BMS to turn the battery on and off. Also if you can cleanly open the enclosure there is added value as well because these are really nice enclosures.

Either way, you will get great value out of these. In fact, with some effort, if you buy 2 you can absolutely make a functional battery and still have a good amount of extra cells.

New, these batteries are crazy expensive. These likely had a self discharging cell during manufacturing because they look pretty clean overall. The other cell groups should test great.
