These are very high quality lifepo4 batteries that have discharged cells inside. The value in this pack is the super high quality 4s lifepo4 BMS that can handle 210a continuous charge and discharge. It can handle 1 second pulses up to 250a and 0.3 second pulses up to 500a.

You will need T10 bit and a dremel to open these. On the bottom of the battery there is 6 bolts to remove. Then you will need to carefully cut the lid at the seam. Then the clear plastic around the main + and - terminals will need to be cut or you can hammer the lid off. It's not the easiest battery to take apart but not impossible. You would have to do it at your own risk.

The cells are likely going to be discharged in these modules.

2nd photo shows the edge where you can bolt your main positive connection to.
3rd photo shows the edge where you can bolt your main negative connection to.
4th photo shows the balance wires. 1 black wire is main negative balance lead. 2 brown wires go to cell 1 positive. 2 green wires go to cell 2 positive. 2 yellow wires go to cell 3 positive. 1 red wire goes to 4th cell main positive.

There is also a temperature sensor and the BMS does have CAN or SMBus communication. We cannot give any technical advice on the programming. We did our best to provide many photos so you can see what you are getting. Of course, you should be able to reuse the enclosure as well. There is a small chance the cells will have voltage. If they are 0v it is very likely they would have self discharge issues if you recharge the cells. That would be a bonus if the cells are good. The value here is the BMS, it's one of the best BMS units you can find for 4s lifepo4 batteries so the reuse of the BMS would be ideal.
