Gotta love assembly defects!!! That means new, never cycled cells! Under 35 cents per cell! These are military grade batteries and they use the best of the best when it comes to cells with no expense spared. These packs cost the government hundreds of dollars but damn it, we're gonna rip them down and get the cells out of them for our projects.
These packs are in 4s9p configuration with a BMS and 36 Sanyo 1150mah prismatic cells. These are great, energy dense cells for their size and this pack is perfect for salvaging them. It is likely that you will not be able to reuse the BMS. This pack is proprietary, everything from the fused sheet to the flexible soft rubber coating. You can easily desolder the cell tabs and build an awesome pack with these cells.
Fully charged: 4.2v Fully discharged: 2.8v Nominal Voltage: 3.6v Capacity: 1150mah Max continuous charge: 1.15a Max continuous discharge: 2.30a
It is actually a very interesting pack. I think you'll appreciate what they were trying to accomplish with this. The fused cell sheet may be able to be reused but understand it is sort of a film style sheet so it could be challenging to get a lot of surface connection on the main busbar. In the end, this pack is perfect for getting cells that have never been cycled and this price for 36 cells is a great deal. You can easily cut the outer shell with scissors.
