This calculation also takes into consideration a 10a continuous amp rating of the cells. These cells can handle 35a continuous but that would likely be best when built with a cooling system. if you run these at 35a continuous that would mean the entire battery would fully discharge in about 5 minutes or less.

Note: The specs show they can handle up to 35a continuous but that is hard to achieve by spot welding nickel. If you can laser weld thicker nickel you could in theory get up to 35a discharge out of these. We set the continuous discharge rate per cell in the calculator at 10a since that is a reasonable amount of amps that would work for most projects. Especially for ebikes and scooter builds.
