New Partial Case - 8x Samsung 3.7v 8.5ah ABOVE CAPACITY
We have 1 box of these batteries with just 8 cells inside so this is the box. We had a pallet with 50 complete 30 packs and 1 pack with 8 cells inside. This is the only 8 pack available.
Here are brand new boxes of Samsung hybrid EV batteries. These actually could not be used in the modules because they were ABOVE capacity. That's right, they tested too good. This application required 8.7-9.7ah cells and these tested a little higher. Now you have an opportunity to build a pack with batteries that were TOO GOOD for the hybrid vehicles they were intended for. These all test around 9.9ah as you can see in the photos. Usually brand new Samsung cells will test upwards of 10% more capacity when they are fresh, these just tested slightly better and the manufacturer could not use them with lower capacity accepted cells because it would create a balance issue. Luckily you will all the same capacity cells within 0.1ah as you can see with the consistency of the tests in the photos. These are still in the original Samsung box. You get 8 cells per case which comes to just $5.50 per cell. All cells are brand new and can easily push 5c current or 10c with compression. Perfect for any ebike or other builds that require a lot of power capability in a small, compact space. We tested at 10c with no issues as well so they are true power cells. These do not have posts so you would need to weld, spot weld, or solder your connections. The positive and negative connections both look like the same nickel plated copper material so you should be able to spot weld these cells with nickel strip but I am not 100% certain.

The packing dates are 2019 so they are pretty fresh cells. We double checked the voltages and also tested a batch to ensure quality. The tests are attached in the photos. These are all in perfect, new condition. We have to ship these at 30 percent state of charge so if you get a few cells that are a little below 3.5v that just means we took it off the recharge test a little early to not go too high of voltage for DOT shipping requirements.
The entire box weight with 30 cells is around 15 lbs.
