New 48x 3.2v 280ah 43kWh Lifepo4 - 12/24/36/48/72v

These batteries have never been cycled. They are perfectly balanced and resting at nominal voltage.

They were recovered from a new industrial solar farm cabinet where the cabinet door was dented while offloading from the shipping trailer. Since the cabinet was supposed to be weather proof they could not use it.

This means you get a module with 48x 3.2v 280ah CATL Grade A lifepo4 prismatic cells. Already with compression and busbars. The cells are all in series. You can convert this module into the following.

(4s) 12v 3360ah 43kWh (12x 4s modules each with a BMS)
(8s) 24v 1680ah 43kWh (6x 8s modules each with a BMS)
(12s) 36v 1120ah 43kWh (4x 12s modules each with a BMS)
(16s) 48v 840ah 43kWh (3x 16s modules each with a BMS)
(24s) 72v 560ah 43kWh (2x 24s modules each with a BMS)
(48s) 144v 280ah 43kWh (1x 48s module with a BMS)

Take a look at the 5th photo. Notice where we are pointing. The series busbars each have 2 threaded holes for small, short bolts. If you carefully cut the busbar between those 2 threaded holes with a dremel you can make connections with ring terminals and bolts. You also have access to all the balance leads for adding a BMS. Of course you would have to do this at your own risk and avoid damaging the cell when cutting but this part of the busbar is raised up a little already.

This battery must ship freight. We have excellent freight rates that include residential and lift gate service or you can always pickup for free from our Bensalem, PA warehouse.

Note: BMS is not included. All the wiring is there for your balance lead BMS connections. The circuit board on this module only communicates to another main unit so you will have to add a BMS. You can add multiple BMS units and parallel them together. The series busbar in the center between cells 24 and 25 runs through a disconnect switch. You can see that in the 3rd photo. Those 2 orange copper busbars run to the disconnect switch. If you connect those 2 busbars it will bridge the series connection or simply cut those busbars and bolt them together closer to the cell. If you take the time to work on the busbars and add your own BMS units you will have a new battery with high quality cells for less than half the cost per kWh for a comparable pre-built battery with a BMS.

We only have a few pallets of these modules at the moment and they all come with the lids. You can also mount this on a wall if you have a wall and bolts that can handle the weight (675 lbs). We don't expect any more of these any time soon. Get em while they last!
