These batteries are balanced but they need a BMS. You can easily remove the lid with the bolts, add your own 4s BMS, and reuse the case. The 4 series of cells inside are balanced and there is already a balance lead wiring harness. Replacing the BMS is very convenient on these packs. Or you can series them and add one BMS. They came out of medical computer carts so they are one of the highest quality batteries available. We include the bolts too.

They are not capacity tested but we inspect to make sure all batteries are balanced. Hospitals often swap these batteries after very little use so they will last you a long time.
