800w Off Grid Pure Sine Wave Inverter Minuteman E1000RM2U 1000VA 6 outlets
This unit in particular was likely dropped into a pallet because there is a little damage on the one corner but it works and is tested 100%. The AC plug is cut too but you don't need that for off-grid use and you can always wire a 120v plug if you wanted to use it on grid as a backup. We took out the lead acid batteries inside so you can add your own 36v batteries. The wiring harness is included so you will have a positive and negative wire to connect to your batteries.
Here is a super high quality UPS unit that works as an 800w pure sine wave inverter. We already removed the speaker that makes the beeping noise! These will last a long time, way longer than any cheap inverter. These rack mount UPS units are built to last and since they are used in hospitals and server rooms they must be the best quality because they HAVE TO WORK EVERYTIME. Compare the size of the components inside a cheap 800w inverter and you will see these are well oversized and will outlast the cheap ones. We run every unit for 48 hours to make sure they work perfectly and they will work within the voltage range of a 10s 36v lithium ion or 12s Lifepo4 battery. Of course you can use Lead acid as well.

It can handle a surge up to 1100w for a few seconds.

Directions for starting and using as an off-grid inverter.
Plug in something like a small fan or charger.
Connect your 36v battery. BEFORE connecting the negative wire use a 25w 30 ohm resistor in line to prevent a spark or really almost any larger resistor will work. This goes for ANY inverter. There are capacitors inside inverters that need to charge first and using the resistor for 2 seconds will charge the capacitors up without a spark. Photo shown in the 4th picture.
Watch the video below to see how to turn it on properly. Hit the power button one time. You will see all the lights turn on for a second, then turn off, then the lights will climb from the light next to 10 on up to the light next to 90. When the light hits the bottom row at 10 hold the power button in until it climbs to 90 then release when it hits 90. Then a second or so after you will see the green lights climb then the pure sine wave symbol will light up and your device will power on. If you don't do the power button thing right then it will not get to the green light cycling and turn off a few seconds later. You can try it again until you get it right. When you get it you'll see it is easy.
