These cells have never been cycled, they were built into packs but the laser welder was broken. The cells have some soft glue that can be removed by hand and on the negative side they have some hard glue that can be removed with a sanding tool. We sanded down thousands of these and tested them. 99% of the cells tested new, only a few bad cells out of thousands. Some cells will be low voltage but all cells have voltage and will take a charge and cycle just fine. We are offering these to people that want to put a little work in to save money and get new cells. In the 3rd photo you will see the sander we used, it works awesome and we got it at harbor freight. Doesn't take much to get the glue off the negative side but you will need a sander, we tried to pick it off by hand and it takes too long.

We also have heat guns in our accessories area of the website but you can also use a hair drier. You likely already have the tools you need to clean these off and wrap them. These cells are one of the best cells on the market and very popular for Ebikes and powerwalls. They are 10a rated cells and our tests have come around 3200mah on average.

Out of the whole pallet we sanded and tested there were 2 cases of cells that were low voltage (0.5v) and all of those cells tested above 3200mah. So these cells were likely only discharged one time to test the bonding glue connection on the negative side. Just charge each cell up to 4.2v before making your series and parallel connections. If you buy 300 cells you may have 1 cell that doesn't test well. The vast majority are perfect and will test excellent after you sand the glue off the negative side.
