2x BYD 3.2v 250ah prismatic Lifepo4 cells

This listing is for a box of 2 cells for $250 total ($125 per cell) Here are BYD 3.2v 250ah cells that were removed from BYD EV modules. The modules sat for a while and had a bad BMS so these cells were never used and removed from the modules without being cycled. Every cell is fully tested (most testing around 260-265ah), and then packaged. Some cells will have stickers, markings, or writing that were just used to label and mark the testing processes. Since they were removed from modules these will not be the sexiest cells but they will be one of the best performing cells you will ever get since they passed quality control at the cell level for use in EV's. You will need a divider between the cells when you build your packs. If you want to make them look sexy just use shrink wrap (as shown in the 2nd photo) you can use 220, 230, or 240mm wide shrink which we have in our accessories area of the website. Or use a thin piece of plastic in between the cells when you assemble them into packs. The bolts are M6 and you will just need standard M6-1.0 nuts.

Each cell can be charged up to 3.65v and discharged down to 2.5v. They are 2c rated so you can discharge them at 500a with welded connections but through the bolts stay around 100a due to the thickness of the bolts. Do not over tighten the bolts. We recommend using flange nuts and if you need to tighten hard maybe hold the bolt with a vise grip to prevent from possibly tightening the bolt out of place. Ultimately these are excellent batteries for energy storage. 4 cells (2 boxes) will make a 12.8v 250ah 3.2kWh battery. 16 in series will get you a 12.8kWh 48v module. Pair these with a nice 100a BMS and you are all set.

These cells weigh 14 lbs and they are 15" x 2.25" x 5.75" in size.

Each box will have 2 cells inside with custom padding. The total weight of each box will be 30 lbs.
