7.2v 46.9ah 337.68wh - 28x 3.6v 3350mah 18650 Cells - $83/kWh

Each module is filled with 28x 3350mah Panasonic 18650 cells. Model NCR18650B. This is one of the best 18650 high capacity cells ever made.

Note: some packs may have the red NCR18650BD version cells but the vast majority will have the green cells. Either way all cells are quality, name brand 3350mah 18650 cells.

Each cell can be discharged up to 4.9 amps.

Great way to get one of the highest capacity cells on the market for just $1/cell very lightly used.

Each module comes with a 2s BMS but that 2s BMS is only rated for around 2 amps. These were designed for long term low drain power. You can charge and discharge through the red and black wires. We do not recommend putting the batteries in series with the BMS. If you want to build them into higher voltage modules just add an overall BMS. Also the nickel is very thin so either way, if you want to use these packs as is, we recommend to keep the amps limited to 5a with the current nickel. You can always spot weld nickel onto the packs to increase the amp ratings of the pack. Otherwise you can break down all the modules to cell level and rebuild them. If you want to build a 14s 48v 46.9ah module you can charge each module then series 7 modules with nickel then add a BMS.

All cells in every pack have voltage. Some packs will show 0v on the red and black wire because they are resting around 2.8v per cell. The BMS will turn on when you apply a charge.

Of course we cannot guarantee capacity of each cell but every single module we tested was around 95% capacity. The packs have a nice rubber coating around them too.

Note: it is possible if you break down to cell level some of the wrappers will rip from the glue. You can use kapton tape to cover the tears or we have 18650 shrink wrap in our accessories category for just 5 cents per wrapper.
