Here are 6x 36v Ebike modules perfect for salvaging 240 MG1 2850mah 10a cells which are one of the best cells on the market and you can get them for just $0.75/cell and a little bit of work. The cells are in 10s4p configuration. You can salvage them as a module or break down to cell level. We have disassembled hundreds of these modules and the cells have all tested great. The packs will be of various voltages and some packs may have a couple bad cells but overall the majority of the cells we tested were perfect. We cycled them and they all tested great so you can expect good cell recovery results. The scooter modules are in super clean condition. They come in the original packaging, 6 per case. Each pack is 10s4p. I'm sure some of these packs could be reused as is after charging them up but we did not test that. Since the cells inside were one of the best on the market we broke down a lot of these, tested all the cells, and used them in a 48v solar storage battery.

This comes out to just $75/kWh plus you get 6x 36v BMS units and the enclosures. A decent amount of the cells we tested were around 1.6v and they all cycled perfect. My guess is the BMS stays active until the cells reach a certain voltage which is why some packs were sitting around the same low voltage. You should be able to recover most if not all of the BMS units and the cells are easy to get out. They slide right out after removing the screws from the one end. We tested hundreds of these cells, many are resting in the 1 volt or higher range, and they tested close to full capacity. This is one of the easiest ways to get good testing high capacity cells. No glue to deal with. For those of you that used to break down laptop and modem packs, you will love how easy these packs are to disassemble. Plus don't forget the BMS has value. If you don't reuse the BMS sell them on Ebay. You should be able to get $10 for the BMS if you save the connectors and balance leads. These modules either were returned or overstock and the vast majority of the cells will test great.
