You can pick up from our Bensalem, PA location for free or we have excellent freight rates which include residential and lift gate service. We also offer a shipping calculator to estimate your shipping costs so you know the shipping costs up front before bidding. Of course you can always set up your own shipping as well.

Just $44/kWh!

To get a more accurate shipping quote you can select the quantity of batteries you want from the drop down menu. In the box they are 80 lbs which is too heavy to ship ground so they have to ship freight. However the cost to ship 1 is near the same price to ship 8 because they can all fit on one pallet.

This is an amazing price for lifepo4 batteries that are perfectly balanced and testing near full capacity. They came out of a huge backup system cabinet and the cabinet itself, not the batteries, had a software issue so the batteries likely only cycled a few times or perhaps never cycled.

Here are 21s 67.2v 50ah 3.36kWh A123 Lifepo4 battery modules. One of them we broke down just for photos to 5x 4s 12.8v 50ah modules and 1 extra single cell. We broke one down for the main photo to show what they look like disassembled. They actually break down to 2s modules but you can also make 4s, 8s, 12s, 16s, 20s if you want. With one battery you could make 5x 12.8v 50ah lifepo4 batteries and still have an extra cell left.

Or, to make it easy you could simply leave the battery the way it is and just remove the series busbars which are just bolted down and you can make your connections with wire and ring terminals.

All cells are perfectly balanced. The module we broke down took about 15 minutes. The aluminum casing is glued to the heating/cooling aluminum pad tabs connected to the side of the cell holders. It's not too hard to break down into 2s modules but it does take some work to get the aluminum enclosure part off. We used a dremel to make a cut and had to do some prying but as you can see we did get one of the packs broken down cleanly.

The cells are 3.2v 50ah Lifepo4 cells and you get all the busbars and extra parts with them. 21x total cells per battery. A nice amount of aluminum for scrapping or reuse. Each full module is 75 lbs. If you break them down all the way you can get 10x 2s cell groups and 1x 1s cell group. The 2s groups may be able to pry apart to single cells but we didn't try and the 2 cell groups are glued together except the last cell in the module is a single cell. Super easy to pull the cells apart after you get the aluminum housing off and carefully remove the busbars.
