SUPER BEAST 12v 48ah 614wh Lifepo4 - 24 Headway Cells
These modules have 24 headway cells inside and they are configured in 4s6p (12v). These modules are built to push 500a continuous. You can easily add a BMS to this module too. This is a pure power module using the best Lifepo4 power cells.
Weight is around 21 lbs and the entire battery including the handles is 14" tall, 7.5" wide, and 6" deep.
The busbars are copper and can handle 500a continuous if you make your wire lug connections directly to the wider cell section. If you use the part of the copper main positive and negative as your main connection, since those are thinner, you can run 300a through them.
All cells have been confirmed to be the same voltage and balanced. The cells are used but were only used as backup and we have been getting 95% capacity on average. So even though these are used you can expect them work like new and last a long time.
We always recommend using a BMS and also make sure if you parallel 2 of these batteries together they are the same voltage. These batteries can output an insane amount of power on a short, over 400a per cell. So please be careful and use a BMS.
Fully charged module is 14.6v (3.65v per cell)
Fully discharged modules is 10v (2.5v per cell)
Nominal Voltage is 12.8v (3.2v per cell)
Recommended max continuous charge 300a when charging using the main connectors
Recommended max continuous discharge 300a when using the main connectors
500a discharge when connecting right to the busbar on top of the cells. Busbars are a little over 1/16" x 2" until it goes into the bend for the main connection which is roughly 1/16" x 3/4".
Below are the specs of each cell. You can separate them if you want very easily to build your own module. These were only used as backup to start transformers so the cells will test like new even though they are technically used. Plus you know these are the legit cells, not rejects or grade B crap.
You can always make thicker busbars to carry more amps but the busbars included are custom made and are meant for these cells. 300-500a discharge for 6 cells in parallel is a reasonable amount of power which will not cause the cells to get warm and it'll make them last longer.
