10 Pounds of Mixed Mostly Medical Packs - 60-80 cells
28 cent cells! You will get around 60-80 cells in these boxes.
We get pallets of mixed, mostly medical batteries. The best thing about medical batteries is they use quality cells that typically don't get cycled too many times so the degradation is often very low and the PCB boards and connectors that are used often have gold plating to pass medical standards for corrosion resistant connectors.
The problem we have is these pallets have so many different types of batteries that it's hard for us to sort and list every one of them. So our solution is to fill up boxes until they reach 10 pounds then sell those boxes for cheap as balls.
The vast majority of these batteries will have 18650 cells inside, a very small chance one pack will be polymer but those are also very usable cells. These are untested, unsorted, and priced so low that your cost per kilowatt hour salvaged will be incredible. Our employees are not instructed to sort out good packs so it is very possible you will get some very valuable packs mixed in. Medical batteries can have amazing value. We have a lot of customers rebuild, refurbish, or test then sell them for good money. We just don't have the time to do that here because our volume is so high but we have a lot of customers making good money rebuilding batteries that they get from us and I love seeing that. There are so many different types of medical lithium ion batteries so the batteries you will receive will be a large mix and likely not the same ones in the photo. The ones in the photo are just some random batteries we grabbed off the top of the pallet for the photo.
