These batteries were recovered from a solar farm energy storage system. They have not been capacity tested and likely have some degradation but they are balanced and you have easy access to the balance lead wires. Great value at this price. The red thin wires are your 5 balance lead wires so you can easily add your own BMS. What appears to be a BMS is actually just a BMU which is used to communicate to another system. You would want to add a BMS to these which is very easy. You have direct access to the main positive and negative posts as well as the balance lead wires. We had some customers just tap and dye the main posts on these modules in the past to make bolted connections.

This type of battery uses a soft prismatic shell battery so you cannot remove the cells from the enclosures. The enclosure should stay closed otherwise the cells will likely expand and you won't be able to get the cells back in.

If you want to series these into 24v, 36v, or 48v you can just add one overall BMS. You should top balance the batteries before putting them into series for a proper top balance.
