Valence U1-12RT LifePo4 24V 40Ah 1kWh Kit - A Grade

These were recovered from hospital computer carts and all batteries were professionally tested around 95% capacity. This is what we consider to be A grade meaning the batteries still test very close to new and were likely only cycled a few times. When we get kits together of batteries testing around 85% capacity we will list them as B grade for less.

All you have to do is connect them in series. Photos show the 2 different ways to connect them in series. Note: the plugs at the end you do not plug together.

If you want to put them facing each other like the 2nd photo you will need to cut the busbar shorter. The busbar is easy to cut with any heavy duty pair of cutters or a dremel cutting wheel. If you put them in a straight line like the 1st photo you do not need to trim any busbars. Just assemble the kit. All batteries will be similar voltages and will be well balanced but if you want to fully top balance just charge each battery up to 14.6v before putting them in series. We cannot ship fully charged batteries so all batteries will arrive very close to 13.0v.

Every set of these batteries in 24v configuration will be able to charge up to 500w (20 amps) and discharge up to 600w (30 amps) continuous.

The universal busbars are great if you are going to use these in a stationary application. If you want to use these in a mobile or high vibration application we recommend to use cables with ring terminals for your series connections since they are flexible instead of the busbars which are not flexible.
