This battery in particular has a stripped positive terminal. Yes, you can easily tap a thread for a larger bolt but the original bolt does not screw down to this post. You can also solder the battery. This battery teste above 100% capacity so it was not used, just overtorqued when the technician put the bolt on the positive side. We are selling this for 20% off because of the issue with the threads on the positive post.
Here are fully tested Valence U1-12rt 12v 40ah batteries. We are a battery testing facility and you will get the full printout of the exact test showing the remaining capacity and discharge curve. We also open the top to check for damage to the battery management system and also ensure that there is no water damage. The top has 6 screws under the sticker so the sticker on the top may be missing if it did not peel off in one piece.
These batteries have cables for series connections so you can make them into 24v batteries. Simply connect the male cable from one battery into the female cable of another battery and the modules will communicate to each other. You will still need to add a series busbar from the one positive to the negative of the other pack.

The D-CC section in the test printout is the capacity reading. The batteries are fully inspected before the testing process. We ensure the groups of cells inside are balanced, check for water damage, and inspect the BMS. Then the battery is fully charged to 14.6v, discharged to 10v, and recharged to a 30% nominal voltage for proper storage and legal shipping within Department Of Transportation guidelines.
