New module with 24x 2350mah cells

These batteries are still in the original cases. They have never been cycled but they are old stock. We opened up a few of these and the cells inside were low voltage (mostly around 1-2v. This is normal from sitting in storage. However, we cycled them and they tested like new. Every cell woke up and these are actually excellent cells. We attached a copy of one of the test results where we tested parallel groups of 3 cells which would come to 7050mah new and we have been averaging 100% capacity.

The battery has 24 Moli ICR-18650J 2350mah cells inside. The configuration is 2x packs of 4s3p. It is essentially 2 12v batteries in one. The BMS is proprietary so the value here is for salvaging the cells inside. 24 cells x 3.76v x 2.35ah = 212.06wh.

To open the case we used a dremel cutoff wheel around the top just below the seam. Takes just a minute to cut the lid off. Then you can actually grip the wiring harness and pull with steady pressure and the pack slides out. The glue inside is not sticky, it's actually somewhat slippery and mainly used for cushioning. You will then have access to the 24 cells inside. The cells clean off nicely as well. You can also save the boards and wires for recycling to get some extra value out of them.

The plastic enclosure interior dimension is 4.75" tall, 2.25" long, 4.25" wide and of course the case can fit 24 cells. If you can cleanly open the case you can likely reuse it and glue it back together.

Overall these are cool little packs with great cells inside.
