5s 18.5v 40ah 740wh Monster Module

If you are looking for power this module is built for it. These were recovered from a high powered server backups.

Each module opens with just a philips head screw driver.

We open and inspect each module to check that all cells have good voltage and are relatively balanced.

This module has a 500a in line fuse, plenty of 500a rated flexible busbars, plus what looks like balancers already attached.

Note, the main power does not run through a BMS, you should add your own BMS to this. You can also put 2 in series for a perfect 36v module. Or even 3 in series for a 15s battery to work on 48v applications. 4 in series will be perfect for a 20s 72v application.

Each cell fully charged is 4.2v and fully discharged is 2.8v. Each 5s module fully charged is 21v and fully discharged is 14v.

The modules are made of 5099130NRS cells in 5s7p. Each cell is rated for 5.5ah with a 5c charge rate and 8c continuous or 13c pulse discharge rating. This module as is can be discharged up to 500a pulse, 300a continuous, and 190a charge.

It comes in a steel enclosure and overall this is one of the greatest power modules we have ever seen in 5s configuration.

Especially lithium polymer, you should always use a BMS and make sure you operate within the specs of the cells and the module. As you can see in the photos these are built for power. Would also make a great battery in 10s configuration for forklifts and golf carts. If you are going to series connect them make sure you balance charge each module before putting into series connections and add a BMS.

We only have 1 pallet of these and we do not expect to get more so get em before Elon Musk buys them all.

The main positive and negative connections can be made using the bolts on the inside as you can see in the 3rd photo. The connection on the outside of the steel enclosure is a rather advanced multi-blade connection so you want to make your connections to the main positive and negative using ring terminals where you see the 2 bolts in the 3rd photo. This makes it super easy to make your connections.
