These cells were recovered from new modules that were never touched in the original crates. You can buy the complete modules with 20 cells inside for a little less. However if you don't need 20 cells or have the proper tooling to dismantle the 20 cell modules, this is perfect.

You get 2 cells per order in this listing. Each cell is genuine, automotive grade, and has the original QR code on them. They are CATL 3.2v 280ah lifepo4 cells. This is the best of the best even though they look a little ugly. You can always wrap them again if you want.

The cells have some epoxy on the wrap as you can see in the photos and the bottom has no shrink wrap. This is from removing them from a well built module. Every cell is resting at nominal voltage and ready to be built. The connectors are laser welded and there is plenty of aluminum tab left to bend it up and make a hole so you can make connections easily with nuts and bolts. If the shrink wrap tears too much we will wrap the cell completely with electrical tape which works great. Only a few cells will be like that. These cells will not win 1st prize at a battery beauty pageant. However they will perform perfectly and last a very long time.

100% automotive grade, not grade B or A-. These are the batteries that were not rejected by automotive quality control.

The photos show the modules they were recovered from. To be clear you get 2 cells, not 1 for this price. If you order a quantity if 2 you will get 4 cells which would make a perfect 12.8v 280ah 3.58kWh modules. If you order 4 you will get 8 cells. etc.

8 cells in series = (24v) 25.6v 280ah 7.17kWh
12 cells in series = (36v) 38.4v 280ah 10.75kWh
16 cells in series = (48v) 51.2v 280ah 14.34kWh

Each cell fully charges up to 3.65v and fully discharges to 2.5v.
Charge up to 280ah (1c) continuous and discharge up to 840ah (3c) continuous.
