10 lbs of Mixed Powersports Lifepo4 batteries

Regular price $20.00 $0.00 Unit price per

Here are 10 lbs of mixed, untested, powersport batteries. These are lightweight, lifepo4 starter batteries used for racing motorcycles, atv, jet skis, etc.

The photo shows 10 lbs of batteries so you can gauge how many batteries you will get. If we have some larger ones it will be less than 6 batteries or smaller ones will be more than 6 batteries. Either way it will be 10 lbs of these types of batteries. These batteries new would be well over $750. The value here is the enclosures, connections, cells, and PCB. These are not guaranteed to work but you are getting them for less than the cost of the enclosures. If the cells work or you can salvage a BMS that would be a bonus. Many of these designs don't have the power run through the BMS so it is sometimes just a gauge for the LED to let you know if the pack is balanced. We have a few customers that refurbish these and do very well selling them. Our company just wants to move these in large volume and it's nice to see our customers being able to start businesses from our supply. I think a lot of the DIY battery community will find these super valuable even if you don't have luck salvaging the cells because the enclosures alone are worth the $20. There are not many lifepo4 cells inside, the enclosure is more sized to fit in certain applications and use the minimal amount of cells needed to start that application. We have customers use a heating pad to heat up the glue to get the caps off or you can hit along the seam.

Our employees will not sort and leave out the good ones. It is possible you get all working batteries or all bad batteries. We get these in by the pallet and it's too much for us to sort so we won't take out the good ones and leave you with the bad ones. We run an honest business here.

I am pretty sure most, if not all of these batteries use Lifepo4 cells inside. Small chance they use lithium ion. I think they just write lithium ion as a marketing term since Lifepo4 isn't widely recognized.
