New in Box 110 2170 M50LT 3.6v 5000mah 36v 1.98kWh - $100/kWh
These modules have never been installed and they come with the original box. We also have these lightly used for a little less but if you want them brand new we have a few pallets here still in the original box. These packs have a BMS but we are not 100% sure what the amp rating is. It appears to be around 50a rated. To turn on the BMS you will need to connect the purple and yellow wires. Then the red and black wires will activate after a charge is applied.
This is certainly one of the best deals you will ever find for high quality 2170 cells. Each module is made of 110 2170 cells. Model INR21700M50LT. Each cell is rated for 3.6v 5000mah. 18wh per cell x 110 cells = 1.98kWh. You are getting never cycled 110 2170 5000mah cells for just $1.80 each.
Each module comes with an aluminum enclosure, cooling material, cell holders, nickel, wiring harnesses, etc.
The modules are super easy to open. 16 standard philips head screws on the lid. Take off the lid. Then there's 8x #2 metric allen wrench bolts. If you don't have that you can get a good pair of pliers and take those 8 bolts out. They are not hard to take out. These are very common tools which is nice. If you have an allen key set that #2 size will certainly be in it.
If you have a spot welder and some standard nickel you will easily be able to convert these into whatever voltage you want. There is also 4x 10 gauge wires and an HRS connector plus some other wiring and connectors you will be able to reuse for another project if you wanted to recover the cells and rebuild into something new.
Currently the cells are 10s11p configuration. If you want to make 14s 48v modules for example we recommend charging all the batteries to top balance then making your series connections to another module. You can remove the 4th series nickel and just spot weld your own nickel in place of that. Or you can dismantle down to cell level and rebuild them however you want.
The cooling material you can reuse. It stays cool and is meant to lay on top of nickel connections. It's actually very interesting material. I wish we could find more and offer it as an accessory.
Module weight is 24 lbs.
Dimensions are 11" x 10" x 3"
